These terms are between you and Caccamedia LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company that operates Liftbite ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Liftbite, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Liftbite does

Liftbite is a fitness tracker for logging food, workouts, body progress, and related goals. It helps you see patterns across nutrition, training, and consistency.

Liftbite is not a medical device, medical service, dietitian, trainer, emergency service, or substitute for professional advice. Nutrition estimates, workout suggestions, calorie targets, and AI-assisted outputs are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for checking entries and making safe decisions for your body, training, and health.

Who can use Liftbite

You must be at least 13 years old to use Liftbite. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Liftbite only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for your device, your Apple account, your training choices, your food entries, and the data you choose to enter into the app.

Early software

Liftbite is early software. Features may change, pause, fail, or be removed.

We may add, remove, rename, or modify features as the product develops. If you rely on Liftbite for planning food, workouts, purchases, memberships, or progress, keep your own records and use judgment.

Accounts and access

Liftbite requires a Liftbite account for the main app experience. Account access may use Sign in with Apple or another supported sign-in method.

Main app access may also require an active Liftbite membership. You are responsible for your device, Apple account, sign-in method, membership, and the information you choose to enter into Liftbite.

Do not misuse Liftbite, interfere with the service, attempt to access another person's account, or use Liftbite for unlawful or harmful purposes. We may suspend or end access if you misuse the app, violate these terms, create risk for other users or service providers, stop maintaining an active membership where one is required, or if we discontinue the service.

Memberships, subscriptions, and purchases

Main app access may require an active Liftbite membership. Paid access is purchased through the Apple App Store unless another purchase method is clearly offered.

Apple handles App Store payments, billing information, renewals, cancellations, and refunds under Apple's terms. Pricing, trial availability, renewal period, and other purchase details are shown before purchase in the app or App Store.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings before renewal under Apple's rules. Deleting the app or deleting a Liftbite account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Restoring purchases may require signing in again.

We may change paid offerings, prices, trials, or included features in the future. Changes apply as allowed by law and by the purchase platform's rules.

Your content and fitness data

You keep ownership of the account details, profile details, food entries, water logs, workouts, sets, reps, weights, body weight entries, progress notes, goal choices, photos, and other content you enter into Liftbite.

You give Liftbite permission to store, display, process, and use that content only as needed to provide the app features you choose, such as account access, membership access, food search, barcode lookup, AI-assisted food photo estimates, workout logging, Apple Health integration, progress views, analytics, diagnostics, and support.

Do not enter content that you do not have the right to use, or content that is illegal, abusive, invasive of privacy, or harmful to others.

Food data and AI estimates

Liftbite may help estimate calories, macros, portions, food names, and other nutrition facts from text, food databases, barcodes, photos, or AI-assisted services.

These results are estimates. They can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and editing entries before relying on them. Liftbite does not guarantee nutrition accuracy, food database availability, barcode coverage, image recognition accuracy, or health outcomes.

Workouts and suggestions

Liftbite may help you track workouts, create or choose workout plans, record sets, and receive simple suggestions based on your goal or history.

Workout suggestions are general fitness guidance, not individualized professional coaching, medical advice, or injury-prevention advice. Stop exercising and seek professional help if something feels unsafe, painful, or medically concerning.

Apple Health and device permissions

Apple Health integration is optional. If enabled, Liftbite may save completed workouts and read supported workout-related data such as workouts, active energy, and heart rate to power app features. You can change Apple Health permissions in iOS settings.

Camera, photo library, notifications, and tracking-related permissions are also optional unless a specific feature needs them. You can change device permissions in iOS settings.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Liftbite. For example, do not:

try to break, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the app, website, API, or data providers.
use Liftbite for illegal activity.
upload images or content that violates someone else's rights.
submit abusive, harmful, or misleading data to Liftbite systems.
use automation or scraping against Liftbite systems without permission.

We may limit or end access if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated or if we need to protect Liftbite, users, or service providers.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what information Liftbite collects and how it is used, including account information, membership status, app data, support messages, nutrition logs, workout logs, body progress, optional Apple Health data, analytics, diagnostics, and AI-assisted food scan data. Third-party services

Liftbite may rely on third-party services and platforms, including Apple, the App Store, Sign in with Apple, subscription service providers, hosting providers, food-data providers, barcode-data providers, AI providers, analytics or diagnostics providers, and email providers.

Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, decisions, content, policies, or fees.

Disclaimers

Liftbite is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Caccamedia LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, injury, health outcomes, device issues, third-party service issues, or inability to use the app.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Liftbite is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Liftbite in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

Indemnity

If your misuse of Liftbite, violation of these terms, or violation of someone else's rights causes a claim against us, you agree to defend and indemnify us to the extent allowed by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in North Carolina will have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes that cannot be resolved informally, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Termination

You can stop using Liftbite at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk, or if the app is discontinued.

Ending your Liftbite account or deleting the app does not cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple. Cancel Apple subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, and governing law.
